Ready for Winter

Aren't we lucky to live in a country where we can enjoy all the seasons?
I love the sunshine, I love those lazy summer days in the garden with a chilled glass of wine.
However what could be nicer than sitting in front of the fire on a cold winters day with a mug of hot chocolate and a good book.
I put a log fire on today, and was quite delighted it was raining outside as it made it feel all the more cozy in my little sitting room.
Come on Winter - I'm ready for you!

  2. Yes I agree. Once you are prepared for the coming season, it's easy ! I'd get soooo bored if it was hot and sunny every day, though I must say that a few more sunny days in summer would be welcome, if only to get us ready for winter....

  3. Your fire looks so welcoming and the room so cosy. I have enjoyed relaxing in front of our fire the last few evenings, candle light and fire light are so inviting when it's grey outside.
