Aren't we lucky to live in a country where we can enjoy all the seasons?
I love the sunshine, I love those lazy summer days in the garden with a chilled glass of wine.
However what could be nicer than sitting in front of the fire on a cold winters day with a mug of hot chocolate and a good book.
I put a log fire on today, and was quite delighted it was raining outside as it made it feel all the more cozy in my little sitting room.
Come on Winter - I'm ready for you!

Yes I agree. Once you are prepared for the coming season, it's easy ! I'd get soooo bored if it was hot and sunny every day, though I must say that a few more sunny days in summer would be welcome, if only to get us ready for winter....
ReplyDeleteYour fire looks so welcoming and the room so cosy. I have enjoyed relaxing in front of our fire the last few evenings, candle light and fire light are so inviting when it's grey outside.

Me too! We had our first rain storm last week. I can't wait for to light the fire place.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day,
