Where do I start with how good this photo is of my Mum?
The old deck chairs, the fabulous wooden beach huts, the dress, the hair, I have no doubt the amazing shoes hidden out of shot.
Was I born in the wrong era???
Next I must mention the volume of people on the beach, unbelievable!
That's ABERDEEN beach, around a mile or so offshore there are now men in full outdoor padded wind and waterproof clothing (at all times) just in case they fall in.
My mother was swimming in there, for recreation!

Have just nipped over from Thrifty's.... great photo. My mother was from Banchory (near Aberdeen), so I understand about the temperature of the sea up there. Also understand re your previous post and the plums. We didn't see a cherry and I shall be picking the plums this weekend (weather permitting). x

Hi Wendy,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo of your Mom. I feel the same way at times, I should have been born in a different time, although I think if I had I would not have lived as long as I have.
Take care and enjoy your day,
Elizabeth
Dear Elizabeth,
