With the evidence of the Cypriot sun on my skin and although I only returned home last night, already I long to go back.
Once again I have fallen 'head over heals' in love with this beautiful island.
Graceful pink flamingos return to bask in the glory of Cyprus and enjoy the beautiful salt lakes in Larnaca.
Cypriot people are so friendly and welcoming, and so proud of their beautiful country, rightly so.
I don't know what magical hold Cyprus has over me but I know I'm not alone, just watch when you mention Cyprus to someone who has been, their face melts into a smile and I can see like me, they too are smitten.
The week before I flew out to Cyprus, I was listening to Ken Bruce on Radio 2, and someone mentioned Cyprus on his show, he sighed and said "Ahhh Cyprus, beautiful Cyprus", and I couldn't have agreed more.
