Candle Making

I am in my kitchen today feeling gloriously creative when it dawned on me you might like a little look at what I am doing!

I thought you might enjoy seeing some candles I am in the process of making today.

They are of course organic soya wax, as always.

They are scented with various natural scents; rose, lavender, tea, etc.

As you can see my vintage containers are very different from the mass produced plain glass jar style.

I like to think my beautiful vintage containers all have their own unique personality.

I am having such a lovely day, the sun is shining in my garden, I have the doors wide open with the radio on in the background.

Perfect.

Thanks very much for your helpful advice about setting up a blog shop. I'm not at all sure about how to go about it, but the comments are giving me a clearer idea how it might be done.

  6. Hi Wendy,
just found your lovely blog, the candles are wonderful I have been thinking about having a go at doing some myself. I can't believe you are in Bridge Allan, my sister and my family moved up to Alloa some years ago when her husband got a lecturing post at Stirling University. I have visited many times and my favourite place nearby is Bridge of Allan ! I remember a lovely little shop with white linen and lace lavender bags and I bought quite a few.I also have avery good friend who lives in Stirling, I met her and her family some years ago when I was on holiday in Spain and since then came up for her wedding. You certainly live in a lovely place.
