Paris

BONJOUR

I am in Paris for a month - so exciting!

I adore it here and not sure I will ever want to go home,  I have now been here around three weeks.

I can't believe how quickly the time is going.

I have done all the usual things so far;

The Sacre Coeur
Beautiful and with the most incredible panorama of Paris from here

The Pompidou Centre
Art Moderne - n'est pas?

The Louvre
Probably my favourite!
I actually had a lump in my throat when I walked into the Italian Galleries, and when I saw Ms Lisa - it was certainly a thrill.

What a stunning city

PARIS

Happy Valentines

Next to look forward to is Valentines Day

It never looses it's charm for me and I love it.
Keep thinking I will grow out of it, but no.

Doesn't have to be any big deal in these times of credit crunchiness!

If you can't afford to go out;
Cook at home, create a romantic scene with lots and lots of my favourite....
candles!

What to wear?

Your heart - on your sleeve, obviously!

That's where I always wear mine.

Happy Valentines Day when it comes around!

May your Burns Celebrations be Joyous

Happy Burns Day!

to you and yours

Enjoy your haggis, neeps and tatties tonight
and
raise a glass of fine malt whiskey
to
Scotland's Bard

'So deep in love am I,
and I will love you still my dear
'till a the seas gang dry'
(until all the seas run dry)

So utterly beautiful

Proud to be Scottish

Especially when Burns Night comes Around

Burns poems fill my heart with joy
If you have never read any of his poetry
and you are romantically inclined start with
'My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose'
It actually makes me cry the words are so beautiful

And there is not a New Year or celebratory gathering in Scotland where his skillfully penned
'Auld Lang Syne' is not sung at the end of the night

I think Burns was a genius and on the 25th January we get to celebrate and remember him

I urge you to join in!
